Brownwood has been playing host to some "true heroes" this week

Camp Corral is a summer camp for children of families with fallen, wounded or disabled veterans and active military.

Today the children were honored with a special presentation from speaker Dana Bowman.
Bowman was a special forces sergeant who lost both of his legs in a military parachuting accident.
Bowman has since overcome his disability and traveled the world inspiring people of all ages.
The visit today was to help kids understand that they can overcome any obsticle and that it's about ability, not your disability.
