Scurry Co. Rodeo Kicks Off Tonight

The 76th edition of the Scurry County Rodeo will begin Thursday night.

The Scurry County Rodeo - named the Texas Cowboys Rodeo Association rodeo of the year in 2006 - will be held through Saturday at the Rodeo Grounds on Gary Brewer Road.

Start times will be at 8 p.m. each day, with a $10 admission fee for those 11 and older. Children 10 and under get in free.

On Friday and Saturday night, the rodeo will close with a dance. Randy Brown will be the entertainer Friday, with Zack Edwards providing the music on Saturday.
