Could there be some "Girl Power" heading to the Olympics?

Reports say the Spice Girls are expected to perform during the closing ceremony for the London Games next month.

The U.K.'s Mirror reports that Victoria Beckham ("Posh Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Gerri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), Melanie Brown ("Scary Spice") and Melanie Chisholm ("Sporty Spice") are "95 percent" confirmed to perform at the closing ceremony.

According to the Telegraph, the '90s British pop group will sing two songs during the event. One of those songs will reportedly be their 1996 hit "Wannabe."

Beckham said in a radio interview Thursday that she'd "love nothing more" than to sing with the group again, according to the Daily Mail.

"I don't know about a comeback tour but I loved being back with the girls...if they're up for something than I certainly am," she said, adding, "We are so proud to be English and are very excited about the Olympics."

The Spice Girls have not performed together since 2008, but did reunite last month for the launch of "Viva Forever," a musical based on their songs that will open in London later this year.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the Olympics closing ceremony will also include performances by Queen, Take That, George Michael and The Who, along with appearances by Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and other British models.
