Bangs' quarterback J.T. Newton has one of the best arms in 3-2A Division 1, last season he threw for 2 thousand yards and 18 touchdowns. Even so- its still something he's been working on in the off season.

"I've always been told I have a good arm, but it doesnt really matter if you cant put it in the right spot, so Ive been working on making my accuracy a lot better and hitting the receivers."

He also had over 300 yards on the ground and 11 rushing Touchdowns. This season, he's expecting the running game to play a much larger role.

"Our line is going to be a lot better, and we will have a strong, fast line and we should be able to run the ball a lot better."

J.T. Gained respect on the field as a Sophomore, now its time to watch him take his talent up a notch as a junior.

"Me and Coach Lipsey, we really work on getting all our pass routes down and working on coverages, so now when we calls a route I know exactly were to go with it."

"He's a big part of the puzzle, and as a sophomore He had a great year. He cant et satisfied with what he did his sophomore year, he has a lot of potential, and the kids respond well to him. He's a good leader, and he's athletic. He's am impact player and can make things happen.
