A weak line of storms is pushing down from Wichita Falls back towards Dallas and it appears this line could make its way south, southwest into the northern portion of the Big Country... just an isolated storm chance this evening and maybe evening a pop-up storm around Abilene on Saturday as well. The big story will be the heat over the near term...Highs Saturday will make it into the lower 100s.

Your latest KRBC PM forecast in detail:

Tonight: A slim storm chance north this evening with mostly clear skies and lows near 74.

Saturday: Mostly clear with a slim pop-up storm chance in the afternoon. Intense heat. Highs near 103.

Sunday: Mostly sunny skies and very hot. Highs near 101.
