Novice ISD board members voted to consolidate with Novice ISD at the latest school board meeting Thurs. night.

The vote was 3-2 to consolidate with the school.

Now residents from both district must vote as to whether or not they agree with the consolidation.

Both districts must have a majority in favor of the decision in order for the consolidation to become official.

Novice ISD members met with representatives from Coleman, Jim Ned and Panther Creek before making the decision.

Members from all school boards agreed to move forward with the consolidation and accept students without any transfer fees.

Coleman agreed to provide transportation for students until the final consolidation is determined.
