By: Gina Benitez
Updated: August 2, 2012
The house at North 5 and Bois D'arc is considered a total loss.

Homeowners Simon and Estella Moreno say they're living with one of their sons for now.

The loss is made even more affecting for the Morenos since they'd lived in that house for over 50 years.

Neighbors and family members gathered today to help with supplies and support the couple during this time.

The Morenos' insurance company will survey the damage tomorrow.
