An Abilene record store has some hefty repairs to make after one of their windows was smashed.
Sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, someone threw a bottle at a front window of Record Guys on South 7 and Leggett.
However, despite the destruction, the store owner doesn't believe it was a case of vandalism. Rather, he believes it was someone being careless and possibly trying to get rid of an open container in their car.
"This is the first time that it's happened directly to the building," asserts Record Guys Owner, Jon Howell, "but to find empty alcohol bottles and general trash is not uncommon."
Thankfully, aside from the broken window, nothing was taken from the store.
