Nelson Park Splash Pad Opening: Big Turnout

The Splash Pad was full of excited children, and one young girl told us why she actually prefers it to a traditional swimming pool.
"It's where you go under and the water is just touching you, and you don't have to hold your breath or anything. You can just breath and walk under it", says Tiffanie Hirst.
The water features are triggered by sensors, and also features a U-V filtration system. The Splash Pad is located next to the Abilene Zoo.
