Becoming a professional painter in just the last year, with top-selling pieces, Ramsey is now turning her focus to an even bigger goal, a global goal, of getting her painting into the hands of literally everyone in the world, with Project Seven Billion.
"The idea is, you buy one and then you get a second one to give to another person. You have something in your hand that you can give to another person. So everyone gets to co-labor. It is a collaboration of believers", says Ramsey.
The painting is of a lion, based on the Bible's Lion of Judah, and includes scriptures on the back. To begin her campaign, Ramsey realized the perfect platform to spread the news of her goal.
"With using Facebook, it's expanding exponentially. I have friends that following me from England that I didn't even know knew about it yet because it's so fast', Ramsey tells us.
Receiving an average of 150 "likes" per day on Facebook, Ramsey's next step is to start hand-delivering.
"I've been invited to go to Uganda, and that's where the first print was sent. It was to Lira, Uganda, to a school", Ramsey explains.
With each stroke of her paintbrush, Ramsey hopes to eventually share her inspiration with the rest of the world, but for now, Abilene is her launching pad.
Ramsey also told us she also sends prints of her painting with local missionaries when they leave for trips as another way to reach her art around the world. For more information on Ramsey's art, click here.
