Isolated storm chances this evening and tonight as well as into mid-week due to increasing moisture in the mid levels. The upper level high that has gripped the area over the past several days has moved further northwest of Texas and thus is losing its influence over our weather picture this week! As a result, temperatures will be slightly cooler by mid -week into the weekend, with forecast highs only in the middle to upper 90s. So let me bottom line it for you folks: this week expect some rain chances and cooler temperatures!!!

The latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy this evening with isolated storms around, a 10% coverage. Skies mostly clear later. Lows near 76.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, isolated storm chances, a 10% coverage. Highs near 101.

Wednesday: Partly sunny skies with a 20% coverage of showers and storms. Highs near 99.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with a 10% coverage of storms. Highs near 99.
