Webcast: Medieval Music Coming to Abilene Library

An Abilene man will be providing some unusual entertainment at the main library in downtown Abilene later this month.

Ray Germany will be performing at the main library at North 2 and Cedar on Tuesday, August 21 from 4:45 until 6.

Germany plays an ancient woodwind instrument called a recorder which was popular in the Middle Ages.

He will be playing current songs on the instrument and some tunes that were typical at the time the instrument was invented.
