Man Dead after Tuesday Crash

One person was killed in a one vehicle crash in Eastland County Tuesday afternoon around 2:30.

Michael William Nance, 53, from Carrolton, Texas was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche westbound on Interstate 20 near Mile Marker 343. 

Nance was driving on a curve when the vehicle left the roadway to the south, crossing the center median and eastbound lanes of traffic. 

The vehicle overturned, ejecting the unbuckled driver. 

Nance was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was dry and the weather clear and the crash is still under investigation.

I feel bad for the family and their loss, but you can't blame the police. "A Warning shot" is not safe or smart and is not proper or smart procedure, and you don't fire 1 or 2 shots and then check to see the response. You unload and make sure they are down and not a threat. i was impressed upon reading the story that they hadn't fired MORE than 5 shots.
