Eastland Mavericks Have A New Look, But Same Expectations

"We expect that, and obviously we know that the target might be a little bigger now. We each, we've kind of built that thing up a little more, so we understand that, and we know that. That should make these guys work harder. Obviously don't know the future, don't know whats going to happen, but we are going to plan on going into each week and winning every game."
"Everybody is going to play their best against us, and we just have to come out here during two-a-days and just work our hardest." adds Clint Galyean.
One of the biggest questions for Eastland is how they fill the hole left by quarterback and Big Country Sports Player of the Year Trent Brittain, along with other key players who graduated.
"We lost some explosive guys offensively and defensively as well, but that's part of it. You are going to graduate those guys, and we've been here five years and worked our tails off, and we expect these kids to step up" Adds Coach Hullett
"Right now we have Josh and he's working hard just to get better."
"We like our guys, we like what we got, we're just new, we're different. So we have to get those guys better everyday."
Like Coach Hullett said, the Mavericks will look different, but its the same Eastland football team mentality.
