Two Indicted by Grand Jury

24-year-old Taylor Dupree Partain was arrested in March by Taylor County sheriff's investigators and charged with arson. Partain was a lieutenant with the Hamby Volunteer Fire Department.
He admitted to starting a fire at the Hamby United Methodist Church on county road 503 on March 20, damaging an outer wall of the church.
Partain is out of jail on $100,000 bond.

The Taylor County grand jury also indicted 20-year-old Samuel Cody Durham today on a felony graffiti charge.
Abilene police say Durham and two other suspects are responsible for a string of criminal graffiti acts early this year.
Police say over a dozen people were victims of graffiti.
