Thanks to a weak cold front that moved through early Friday, overnight temperatures will dip into the upper 60's into Saturday morning. Mostly sunny skies will make way for another hot weekend with upper 90's and lower 100's for Saturday and Sunday. We may see a bit of relief by Monday though. Depending on how much convection we can stir up, a 20% chance of rain is likely for portions of the Big Country starting late Sunday and into Monday.
For the rest of the new work week, temperatures will mainly hover in the upper 90's and lows in the mid 70's. Next best wave of relief could be by the end of next week, with some forecast models showing showers trying to form again next Friday, and into the weekend.
