This will be the best meteor shower of the year, according to NASA, because the brightest planets in the solar system are lining up right in the middle of the display.
Peak times to catch the show will be between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday, although meteors will begin to fall after sundown Saturday.
During that time frame, as many 100 meteors will be seen per hour -- and between one to two meteors a minute, experts said.
So, head away from those city lights and get your wishes ready, because shooting stars are ready to dazzle.
