Update: More Clues in Crash Killing HSU Athlete

We're learning more about the deadly crash that killed a Hardin Simmons University volleyball player.

Officials with the Department of Public Safety report they believe texting played a roll in the crash.

20-year-old Jessica Rogers died last Thursday driving back to Abilene from Stephenville.
 
Rogers was heading west along Interstate 20 when she hit the back of an 18-wheeler which was slowing down for traffic ahead.

DPS also reports Rogers' seat belt did not appear to be worn properly.
   
Rogers was laid to rest Sunday in her hometown of Henrietta.
