ALOT School Supplies Drive Thursday

Abilene Leaders of Tomorrow's annual School Supply Drive for Title 1 schools in AISD will be held Thursday, August 16.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at First Financial Bank located on 400 Pine Street in the third floor dining room. Admission to the event will be a sack of school supplies or $5, with all proceeds going to the drive.

Abilene Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT) is a program of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, designed to connect, empower and engage the leaders of tomorrow by providing professional development, community and civic involvement and social opportunities.

The group represents a vast array of the area's workforce including: non-profits, manufacturing, retail, education, the arts, architecture, engineering, finance, marketing, law, medicine, media and government.
