For adults, the doctors office can still inspire fear, especially when
it comes time to pay the bill. Part of the solution to getting the
lowest cost is making sure you get the most out of your dental insurance
coverage.
Tiffany with Abilene Dental says, "Most dental insurances will cover the majority of preventative care. Things like cleaning, check-ups, x-rays. Then it kind of lessens the bigger the treatment."
She adds, "Most people assume that dental insurance is exactly like medical insurance and it's not. Unfortunately it's more of a benefit instead of an insurance. So you have about a thousand to fifteen hundred dollars a year to use maximum and then it's over."
