A disturbance to our north will swing southeastward and clip mainly the northern section of the Big Country tonight and also bring with it shower and thunderstorm activity mainly to areas along I-20 and north of Abilene. However, we still might see some storms develop locally as well it's just that the best chances will be north. The next best chances for rain will be late week into the weekend
as a front will drop through the region. Showers and storms and cooler temperatures will be in the forecast at that time.

Your latest Weather Lab forecast:

Tonight: Scattered storms. Lows near 76 under partly cloudy skies.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with an isolated storm chance. Highs near 100.

Thursday: Partly cloudy and highs near 98.
