Having animals can be good for you.

They calm you down, lower your blood pressure and just make you feel good.

One particular animal helps through visits hospitals, bringing plenty of good medicine.

Zorian is a 27-year-old miniature horse.

He recently visited patients at Lima Memorial Health System's Transitional Care Center in Lima, Ohio.

The mini horse is a service animal and visits with those in the hospital, helping to replace the pain and suffering of the patients with smiles, for at least a little while.

Mini Adventures Inc. out of Waynesfield, Ohio brings the horses around to hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities as a type of pet therapy.

Mini Adventures is a non profit organization and relies on donations to help take care of the horses.
