Tax Free Weekend Arrives Just In Time For Back To School Shopping

For new students one of the most exciting times of the Summer is back to school shopping and for parents Tax Free Weekend offers a rare chance to catch some great deals.
"Anything that's purchased under $100 that is on the state approved list will ring tax free," explains Dillard's Store Manager, Debra Longino.
According to Logino, some of the things parents look for are jeans, T-Shirts, any kind of logo T-Shirts, and special uniforms. So what are the hottest new looks?
"The hottest trend this season is colored denim," says Longino. "Instead of your basic blue denim, it now comes in a variety of colors."
With the summers end comes an end to light wash jeans as a trend. Instead, Longino says more and more customers are turning toward the darker denim to fit their fashion needs.
Of course every student needs a stylish backpack to head back to school with and Dillard's offers a huge selection with plenty of glitter, sparkles, and even a few celebrity appearances.
"Just Bieber is still definitely one of the hottest things going on right now," says Kids Department Representative Holly Tittle, "the backpacks are selling like crazy!"
