You may recall a fire at the motel in downtown Abilene in February that damaged several rooms, causing some families to lose everything.

Surveillance video was later released that shows a woman coming out of the first floor room where the fire started.

The same woman then turned, opened the door and  watched the smoke come out of the room.

A man then goes to the room and both of them leave.

22-year-old Demi Christine French is charged with arson in connection with the fire.

She was arrested Tuesday when police responded to a disturbance call and found her at the location.

This is not French's first arrest for arson.
