Body Discovered in Sweetwater Park

A body was found in Sweetwater Friday in a local park.
The body was discovered by a city worker lying near a bench in Newman Park.
The body has been identified, but authorities are keeping details under wraps until next-of-kin have been notified.
They have released, however, that the body is male and was not in a state of decay.
There is no word on whether foul play is suspected.
The body has been transported to Lubbock for an autopsy.
