Come this weekend six country bands will file into the Taylor County Expo Center along with their biggest big country fans for the first annual Swingin' Tex Fest.

Director of Ben Richey Boy's Ranch, Kerry Fortune, says, "It's gonna be a great weekend. It's an opportunity for folks that like to come out and dance and just listen to some good country music and wanna dance this is where you need to be."

"After attending the Snyder event we thought this is a great opportunity to bring an event to Abilene. Really we thought there is a lot of folks that are a little older that wanna go out and dance but they don't wanna go to the clubs they don't want to go to the bars but they love to go dance, we thought this would be a great way for us to give back to the community and to a lot of folks that support us," Fortune explains.
