Mostly clear skies this evening. Later tonight a MCS - basically a large thunderstorm complex- is expected to develop up in the Panhandle of Texas and it is forecast to slide southeast toward the Big Country. The best chances for rain with this system will likely be in the north Big Country but Abilene will have a chance at storms too. Tomorrow should be cooler with lingering scattered storm chances.

Your latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast:

Tonight: Becoming partly cloudy with a chance of storms after midnight. Lows near 69.

Tuesday: Plenty of clouds with lingering storm chances. Cooler. Highs near 86.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy and highs near 95.
