The proposed budget is about $116.5 Million and includes a pay raise for new teachers.
Most other teachers will receive a salary increase of three percent.
Food service funds will increase substantially, made neccesary partially because of higher food costs associated with new nutrition guidelines.
The new budget also includes a lower tax rate of about $1.15 for every $100 of assessed property value.
The school board is scheduled to vote on the proposed budget next week.
