Panther Creek ISD Repaid Funds After Substantial Financial Theft

Last November, Coleman county officials arrested the former high school business manager at the Panther Creek Independant School District.
35-year-old Lori Sparks was charged with stealing from the rural school district.
Panther Creek Superintendent Dwin Nanny says the money has been repaid to the district..
Spark's theft was discovered after auditors notified the school of criminal financial wrong-doing,
Panther Creek brought in the sheriff's office to investigate and later made the arrest.
Sparks was later indicted by a grand jury.
