We're launching an effort to help stop drivers from texting while driving. Distracted driving claims thousands of lives each year and our no text big country campaign offers a pledge that any driver can make to their loved ones.
Every year some of the students at Abilene High School, in the parking lot across from the the school, paint their parking spot, it's where they will park their cars for the rest of the school year.
The parking spaces are just as unique as each student, and usually reflects a part of their lives,
One of the students, Lauren Williams has only been driving for a few months but she has had her cell phone for years.
It was no surprise to learn that she is guilty of texting and driving, even after hearing all the warnings.
But all that changed today, Lauren and other students signed our NoTxtBC pledge.
Take the pledge here and help save lives.
