18-Wheeler Rollover, Driver Airlifted

An 18-wheeler rolled over Monday, sending a man to the hospital.

It happened earlier Monday afternoon around 1:00 .

A Coca-Cola truck traveling northbound on Highway 36 drifted off onto the shoulder of the road, over-corrected and crossed the highway, flipping over on the west side.

The driver, who was identified as Marcus Kyle Edwards, was air lifted to the hospital.

DPS officials say the man was alert and conscious at the time he was transported.
