The 2012 season gets underway on Friday night and the Wylie Bulldogs head to Argyle to get it going.

That game with the Eagles is going to be a real challenge for the Bulldogs. They are on the road to face 12th ranked Argyle. This game is a tough way to open the season.

That said, the Bulldogs are just happy it's game week, and it is time for them to get serious.

"Everybody is just ready to get into the game, get into a routine of games every Friday night. They excitement the whole school has on Fridays gets you pumped up and ready to go." adds senior Taylor Grant.

"You know, everyone wants to get that first win like Coach Sandifer always says. We've got a lot of eyes on us this week, its a big game, so we are really looking forward to playing this week and getting a victory." says Sterling Bristow

"It's exciting because everyone in the state is undefeated. Everyone wants to win that first one. I know our kids are excited and looking forward to playing Argyle." adds head coach Hugh Sandifer

Wylie's game with Argyle is over in the Metroplex on Friday night at 7:30pm.

Taylor Grant will be the quarterback behind that line to start the game against Argyle. Don't be surprised if Grant and junior Blake Frampton see some time on the field.
