Clyde Vs. Bangs

By: Big Country Homepage.com Sports
Updated: September 1, 2012
Friday night new Clyde head coach Rocky Smart took his team to Bangs to open the season.

The Dragons rolled out the red carpet for Smart and his team. J.T. Newton would fake the handoff and run it in himself from 15 yards out and give the Dragons a 7-0 lead.

Bangs would strike again, but this time it would be through the air. That's as Newton connects with Matt Carter for a 40 yard touchdown pass to extend their lead to 14-0.

Clyde would cut that lead in half with a quarterback keeper by Mason Burson to make the score 14-7, but Bangs would tack on another touchdown to win 28-14.
