McMurry University held it's first chapel of the school year this morning welcoming back students.

New students and returning students alike joined together to start the new school year with a chapel service outdoors.

A tent was set up in the middle of campus to provide opportunity for students to start the new year off on a good foot.

"it's a great way to kick of the year, to pray and worship God together and then to join in eating and some fellowship," says McMurry Chaplain, Tim Kennedy.

McMurry University traditionally holds the first chapel of the school year out doors every year.
