Coleman City Council addresses car wash criteria in Stage III of City of Coleman Drought Contingency Plan

In a special called council meeting on Monday, August 27, 2012, the City Council addressed the City of Coleman Drought Contingency Plan Stage III concerning the hours of operation for vehicle wash stations closing from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The council voted to allow the car washes to operate under their normal business hours, but to keep in place the 30% water allocation restriction.

Please keep in mind the City of Coleman is in Stage III of the drought and all customers are to follow the criteria as outlined in City of Coleman Drought Contingency Plan which includes a goal of 30% reduction in total water use.
