Wylie Routs Bridgeport In Home Opener

By: Eric Boynton
Updated: September 7, 2012
The Wylie Bulldogs had both the offense and defense going on Friday night in their home opener against Bridgeport.

The Bulls' first possession, Trey Cook's pass goes directly in the hands of Jake Linn. Giving Wylie perfect field position for a Taylor Grant drop pass to Garrett Martin.for a touchdown and a 7-0 Wylie lead.

Their very next possession, Martin took the direct snap, and weaved his way through defenders into the far corner of the endzone. The Bulldogs not skipping a beat went up 14-0 at that point.

And the defense kept helping out the offense. This time with a tipped pass that was intercepted by Hayden Lewis.

That set up a Grant to Deric Ince touchdown and made it 21-0 at that point.

The Bulldogs would keep cruising in this one, and go on to win 42-0.
