Athletes Get Dirty in a Fun Run

By: Nora Hartfeil
Updated: September 8, 2012
The second annual Mudslinger Fun Run was held at Seabee Park Saturday.

The race drew in teams and individuals to complete with obstacles, and of course, lots of mud.

We spoke with a team about why they love getting a little dirty.

"We are just coming out to have a good time and enjoy the nice weather today. It's a nice way to spend time with friends and get some exercise all at the same time", says the "Dyess Disco Divas" running team.

They also told us that the cooler weather made racing much easier, compared to last year's triple digit temperatures.
