It was an afternoon of fun and games for these kids.
"Excited cause I get to do lazer tag, get to ride the go-karts," said nine year old Madilyn Abor.
But for Madilyn, today is about being a normal kid, because her leukemia doesn't allow her to do the things she used to do.
"I don't get to go places where my sister and brother go," she explained.
After being diagnosed in June, Madilyn's parents said that Little Baron's allows their daughter to be a kid again.
"Just seeing her, out and about, being normal. That is a godsend," said Anwar Abor, Madilyn's father.
Though the first annual, Little Baron's is trying to lay the groundwork for a group that will help kids and families fight cancer together.
"We want them to have a place they can come, friends they can relate to. Families that can bond and maybe support each other through all of this," said Jackie Love, Cattle Baron's Chairman.
For Madilyn, it's a chance to see that she's not the only one fighting cancer at a young age.
"I get to meet people who had the same type of cancer and all types of different cancers," she said.
For parents, it's a chance for them to find other parents that know what they're going through as well.
"It makes you not feel so alone," Anwar explained. "That there's other people out there going through what you're going through. So you don't really feel so alone anymore."
Though a difficult battle, Madilyn and her family say they've learned to appreciate everything they have.
