Chef Sandy Davis, Chef Instructor at the TSTC Culinary Institute in Abilene and winner of "Chopped," will take the Celebrity Chef Spotlight stage Friday evening at the West Texas Fair and Rodeo.

Davis, originally from Stamford, is famous for winning the first season of the hit Food Network Show "Chopped."

Davis has more than 35 years of experience in the kitchen and will be presenting how to cook deviled eggs three ways.

Davis calls his food Texas-French, which is evident in his menu for the fair spotlight.

The works of art include Jalapeno Chili Deviled Eggs, Shrimp and Caper Deviled Eggs and Smoked Salmon and Dill Deviled Eggs.

Darlene Bounds, coordinator of the Celebrity Chef Spotlight for the fair, is also from Stamford and went to school with Davis.

Bounds said, "How perfect it was to ask Sandy to represent TSTC Culinary Institute and spotlight his accomplishments. I'm so proud that he is giving back to the students what he knows."
