Wylie Continues Hot Start Against Graham

By: Eric Boynton
Updated: September 15, 2012
Both the Wylie Bulldogs and the Graham Steers come into tonight's game 2-0. The two familiar foes are going to have to battle it out amongst each-other to find out  who's going to be leaving undefeated.

It's the defense that would come out strong between the Bulldogs and the Steers. First quarter Wylie moving the ball down the field.

A big run here by Garret Martin. That keeps the Wylie drive alive , but it would ome to a halt down by the 15 yardline. Taylor Grant would scaramble and pass, but it's tipped and picked off by Hunter Jones. He would take it back, but not only would he be stopped...the Steers would be stopped as well.

On the ensuing drive for the Bulldogs another deep pass by Grant, but this one is picked off by Jerrod Mahan. The result on this one would be a little bit different.

The Steers would get the drive going, but Ben Davis' pass to Bryce Reeves is broken up by Shonte Brown, and the Bulldogs take over. Their offense would take over in the second quarter as well and lead 17-7 at halftime.

The Bulldogs would add to that lead in the second half and go on to win 31-7 Friday night.
