Murder of Abilene Reporter still Unsolved on 10th Anniversary

"It was shortly after that that we heard the police call tone out a possible DOA. And they gave out that address," explained Taylor County Judge Downing Bolls, who was a longtime KRBC anchor.
And that's when the coworkers of the KRBC reporter found out that Jennifer had been brutally murdered.
A decade later, er murder remains unsolved
"We've tried to run down those leads and unfortunately none of them have ever really panned out," said Abilene Police Officer Jeff Bell.
Detectives have spent hours on the case, chasing down multiple leads and ending up with the same result.
"Spent a lot of man hours on this case and we really haven't come to the conclusion that we want to on it yet.
"Everybody that's worked and worked really hard on this case wants to see this thing come through," he said.
Though it has been ten years, no one has given up.
"Still certain that something's going to come through on this one of these days," said Bell.
"I'm convinced that someday they will solve this case," Bolls said.
