2012 Brownwood Reunion Has Successful Turnout

By: Natalie Ferrari
Updated: September 17, 2012
Many folks made their way to Brownwood over the weekend to celebrate the 12th annual reunion celebration.

It was a weekend filled with activities for all, from rides, to shopping and of course the traditional fair food.

Lisa Tipton of Brownwood News reports that Sunday, the final day, featured a lineup of local Christian bands, as well as several competitions coming to a close: Hands on a House, the photography contest, and the Classic Car show.

Multiple vendors said it was by far one of the biggest and busiest reunions they've had in several years, and feel as though the cool weather had a lot to do with the successful turnout.

It will still take at least one week to compile the official attendance numbers for the weekend event.
