Bar 14 hosted the Zumbathon for Madi-Moo Saturday in an effort to raise money for Madilyn Abor, who was diagnosed with Leukemia in June. Those who came out to the event say it's an easy way to help families who are fighting diseases like cancer.
"To help families out who can't, who are sick or whatever and then they have medical expenses that it all builds up and they just can't take care of it all," said Zumba instructor Shellie Elliott.
Donations for the Abor family can be dropped off at Bar 14, where shirts and bracelets are also for sale as part of the fundraising efforts.
