The Cougars and Odessa High in district 2-5A. The Cougars looking to claim their 2nd district win.

1st quarter. The Cougars defense playing tough. Cordell Dorsey brings down the running back for a 5 yard loss.

The Cougars offense gets to work after that. Gives the ball to Xavier McCann, and he gets the corner. Gets the ball inside the 10 yard line to the 8.

That leads to the Zach Lehr field goal. Cooper with an early 3-0 lead.

Same score in the 2nd quarter. Kerry Sims take the pitch. He's making moves and out running folks... The Cougars have the ball at the 15.

Next play they get in the end zone. Lorenzo Joe swings it out to McCann. It looks so easy. Cougars score and they lead it 10-0...

Odessa high punting now. Bad snap and the Cougars track down the punter and throw him for a loss. Sets up a field goal. 13-0...

Next Cooper possession, they take to the air. Joe goes deep to Jordan McCoy. He makes the catch and takes 2 hard hits and hangs on.

Later in the quarter. Joe looking for Kashawn Brown on the fade. Brown makes the catch... Another cooper touchdown and they lead it, 20-0...

Next Cooper possession. Joe back to the air. He finds Todd Duquette down the middle. Cougars with a 1st down at 16.

2 plays later. Another fade. This time Joe goes to Anthony Pierson for his 3rd touchdown pass of the game. Cooper leads 26-0 at the break.

The Cougars extend that lead on the 1st play of the 3rd quarter. Trey Dye with the ball , and there is no one that can catch him. 64 yards for the score. 33-0 Cooper.

The Cougars go on to win 40-2
