Rain chances are becoming more likely for the Big Country, as a matter of fact showers and storms are ongoing at this very moment in many locations in the area. Severe weather is not expected, however, locally heavy rains are likely as we head into Saturday. one to 3 inches of rain will be possible so keep those umbrellas handy! With all of the clouds and rain, and limited sunshine temperatures will be much cooler than we have seen as of late.

Here's the latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast...

Tonight: Cloudy with rainstorms. Lows near 70.

Friday: More rainstorms, some locally heavy rain possible. Highs near 79.

Saturday: Continued damp and cool weather with locally heavy rain once again possible. Highs near 75.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and dry. A tad warmer. Highs near 82.
