Rain Doesn't Keep Balloon Fest Hopes Grounded

Balloon enthusiasts are staying optimistic that they'll be able top fly this weekend.

The Big Country Balloon Festival kicks off Friday, although pilots didn't get to fly this morning as planned.

However, they do hope to take to the skies later Friday evening.

The 18th annual festival takes place this weekend at Red Bud park and is sponsored by the Optimist Unlimited Club of Abilene.
