As of 4 PM Abilene has officially seen 2.58" of rain over the past 24 hours. Heavy rains are expected tonight and Saturday here in the Big Country.

Flash flooding is a concern and a Flash Flood Watch has been posted for the southern and western Big Country areas for potential flash flooding due to an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain being likely and localized 4 to 6 inch amounts also being possible in some areas!

Rain chances should decrease later Saturday afternoon. Sunday looks dry and warmer.
