The rains are finally beginning to taper off for the western most Big Country and we will see that trend move eastward as we move through the overnight hours. Some areas have seen nearly 11" of rain since Thursday. The effect of this has been flooding across much of the Big Country. A Flood Watch remains in effect until 7:00 PM for the Southern Section of the Big Country. Still be on the lookout ...
for major ponding on the roadways and remember DONT DROWN, TURN AROUND.

Look for some showers into the night and a chance of some rain sticking around for the Eastern Big Country into Sunday morning. The skies should be clearing in the Afternoon on Sunday. A stray chance of a shower on Monday and the rest of the week is looking to be pleasant.

Sunday - Highs in the upper 70's, Lows around 60. Skies clearing in the afternoon.

Monday - Highs in the lower 80's, Lows in the upper 50's. Stray chance of Shower.

Be sure to watch my Nora Hartfeil, Marlisa Goldsmith, and myself for our first newscast together.

Have a Great Evening!
