The Annual College Fair will be held at the Abilene Civic Center from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, October 1.

Recruiters from approximately 60 universities and colleges will be in attendance including UT, A&M, Texas Tech, TCU, and many others.

Junior colleges as well as tech schools will also be at the fair.

This is a great opportunity for potential college candidates to meet some of the people who will be reading and scoring college applications.

In addition, there will be presentations on the NCAA Clearinghouse by John Martinez (principal at ATEMS high school), Financial Aid by Jim Jones from Hardin-Simmons University, and scholarships available through the Community Foundation of Abilene by Nita Slaton (grants administrator).

All students attending Abilene and area schools are invited.
