Jury Selection Begins in Abilene Murder Trial

Jury selection began this afternoon in an Abilene murder trial.

26-year-old Alfred Williams of Dallas is charged with murder for a slaying that occurred in southwest Abilene last October 18.

Williams was actually the second person arrested in the case and is charged with murder for the shooting death of 22-year-old Kerrion Harness.
 
It happened at the Little Elm condos on South 7 street.
   
Williams was captured in Dallas and brought to Abilene for the trial.
   
The jury selection part of the trial begin at 1:30 this afternoon at the Taylor County Courthouse.
